The black-dress twin, sewn together during the same, exhausting, sleepless week.
The colour of the dress is achieved layer black tulle over indigo cotton, here and there there’s also some greyish tulle.
There are, if I recall correctly, 6 different kind of black lace, trimmed and attached to form the design on the corset and the sleeves. (If anyone cares, I just used every single black lace leftover in my possession, the only one I bought is the tiny one around the neckline)
This is the fastest corset I ever made. Since I had no time, instead of using regular interfacing inside, I found some canvas laying around in my fabric box and decided to use that.
Wow! One week! You must not have slept much! I have that problem when I'm really excited about a new project, I'll go w/o sleep. It is a gorgeous dress. Wish it would fit me, but no corset could hold that much of me in! Hmmm, rib removal?...
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The overall theme of this contest is 'Life', but most importantly, your biggest reason why you love life. Too frequently are we met with complaints, arguments, sadness... and more in between, so we would like you to portray something a little bit more upbeat, happy; something that makes you smile and feel warm, inside.
So, take a photograph of something that makes you giddy with joy, something that you enjoy, something that you may take for granted. Perhaps you can ask yourself what things you love in life, or what things you love about life, it's all up to you in how you interpret and portray this theme!
